Do you have recommendations for diving on Koh Chang? We’re trying to find out where YOU believe is the best place to go diving in and around Koh Chang island and why. Is there a particular diving centre you recommend to use?

Thailand is a fantastic place to dive. With such a diverse marine life and many dive trips costing as little as 2,700 Baht for the entire day, it’s not surprising that visitors are often on the look out for recommendations for diving on Koh Chang. Whether you are completely new to scuba diving, have tried it several times before or you’re a instructor yourself, Koh Chang has some amazing dive sites to explore, including some extremely interesting wrecks.

Rather than us coming up with one sided (even possible biased) suggestions on where to head and who to dive with, we want YOU to have your say on where you think is the best place to dive. Where would you recommend someone new to the island go to learn diving for the very first time? Is there a particular dive centre you would highly recommend? Did you find the PADI course easy or hard? Does your instructor deserve a mention because they were so patient and understanding?

HAVE YOUR SAY and share with us your comments on your recommendations for diving on Koh Chang. We would love to hear from visitors who have previously completed a dive trip with a centre and would like to share their experience. Perhaps you are an instructor and would like to give us your thoughts and advice?

Please feel free to share with friends and take this opportunity to HAVE YOUR SAY and leave your comments below! If we receive lots of praise about a specific dive centre, we’ll even aim to promote them on our Koh Chang Travel Guide.

  1. I took a vacation to Koh Chang last year and booked a diving trip with BB Divers. They are amazing! I had never tried scuba diving and I was really scared but was keen to at least try it once. BB Divers signed me up for a day long course so I could experience what it was like to dive down to 12 meters. OMG it was amazing!! The dive site was called Ko Mak and it was beautiful. My instructor was so patient and the whole experience was so much fun.
I highly recommended going with BB Divers if you’re planning to dive in Koh Chang.
    Thanks so much BB Divers!
